I was doing a duty that I wasn’t asked to do but I’m doing it anyway - in driving around as I spot our side’s yard signs I’ve stopped to pick them up. As I pick them up in my hand many people driving by would toot their car horns and give a big thumb up. In fact Wednesday morning I was driving to my day job when an older gentleman pulled alongside, rolled down his window and gave a big thumb up saying “We did it! We got that *expletive* Peterson out of office!!”

Mayor-elect Greg Ballard’s incoming transition team is taking shape, of course John Cochran his campaign manager is there, as well as Greg Wilson, Melissa Profitt-Reese, and I would assume Darla Williams is involved somehow. I know there are others but I’m experiencing a brain fade and can’t place their names offhand.

Mayor Bart Peterson’s outgoing transition team so far is including former country Democrat chairman Ed Treacy. You know him. He wanted Doris Ann Sadler jailed, even though he has an excuse generator running for all of Beth White’s mistakes. It apparently includes Chief Deputy Mayor John Dillon. I would also believe Deputy Mayor Steve Campbell is also involved, I mean how can he not. He’s served as Bart Peterson’s mouthpiece for quite some time.

I was sent this excerpt from Wikipedia and it makes sense to the people of Greg Ballard’s transition team. This does not apply to any particular person, nor anyone involve in the transition in administrations. As they say, forewarned is forearmed.
