ndianapolis-based Community Health Network and UnitedHealthcare remain optimistic that they can come to terms on a new contract as a deadline nears. The current agreement between Community and the Minnesota health benefits company is set to expire February 22. Community Health is planning to submit a new proposal this week.

Community Health Network and UnitedHealthcare are in active negotiations. Our current contract does not expire until Friday, February 22, and we are still optimistic that a mutually beneficial agreement can be reached before that time. Community will respond to United with a new proposal early next week. We understand that there is concern in the community, and while we continue to negotiate, we will provide updates.
